Come join us in New Orleans for a week of jazz music!
Jazz music was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It emerged from a unique, diverse cultural melting pot, blending African rhythms, blues, ragtime, and European musical traditions. Key origins include Congo Square, where enslaved people preserved musical traditions, and the city’s vibrant brass band and social scene.
Enjoy up to 5 days and nights of performances by jazz artists from all over the world, in addition to workshops and clinics presented by local and international artists, including John Pattitucci, Danilo Pérez, and Brian Blade with Children of the Light.
